Charles Armstrong Mantz, lawyer, polyglot and Curator of Asiatic Anthropology and Archeology at the Denver Museum of Natural History (DMNH), conducted several archeological expeditions to Asia, bringing his knowledge back to Denver. DMNH is now the Denver Museum of Nature & Science. Mantz was born in Fort Collins, Colo., in 1892.
